Support Us

Greengate School is a non-profit, charitable, 501(c)3 organization. One hundred percent of our tuition goes to cover overhead expenses, and even then, it takes additional fundraising to meet our annual budget.  Our costs are driven by small classes, individualized instruction, and a low student-to-teacher ratio. We are always seeking donations to help with the true cost of operating the school.  We are extremely grateful to the many businesses and individuals who have given generously to make Greengate possible.

Ways to Give

  • Donate Online!
  • Send your contribution by mail. Checks should be made payable to Greengate School and mailed to the attention of the Development Office at 2800 Poplar Ave. NW Unit B Huntsville, AL 35816
  • Ask your employer if they have a Matching Gift Program to double/or even triple your gift.

How Much Should I Give?

Participation is key. The amount is up to you. No donation is too small, all gifts are vital to the success of our campaign.

Annual Giving Fund

The Annual Giving Fund is an annual, charitable, tax-deductible gift we ask of everyone. Annual giving funds are operational expenses used to offset the cost of educating each student over and above tuition fees. These are unrestricted funds that directly impact both students and faculty. These gifts are used to directly enhance each student's educational opportunity, help support technology enhancement and staff professional development, and support our general operating budget. We do not receive any funding from state or federal agencies. Greengate School’s Annual Giving campaign is announced each fall, however donations may be made throughout the year to support the general budget.

Spring Swing Gala

Each year Greengate Schools hosts its annual fundraising gala, the Spring Swing, to support the general operating budget, tuition scholarships and capital improvements to the school. This is our key fundraiser conducted each year lead by our Director of Development. Volunteer support, community donations, and sponsorships have helped us generate approximately 300 guests raising an estimated $100,000 each year.  This year our Our Spring Event, was held Friday, April 29th, at the Lumberyard.  Contact our Director of Development, Kathi Tew at 256 551-4439 to find out more.
