Greengate offers Tutoring Services for Home Schooled High School Students in grades 9 - 12 with Learning Differences in reading, spelling or writing.
Greengate's home school instructors are experienced in tutoring high school students with dyslexia, ADHD and other learning challenges. Instruction is direct and explicit, multi-sensory and project-based. Instructors incorporate frequent skill practice and feedback, and provide classroom accommodations to meet individual students' learning needs.
For the 2010-11 school year, we currently offer classes in Language and Literature, as well as one-on-one tutoring for Reading Remediation. Since each high school program has differing course requirements for its home schooled students, teachers work with parents to address specific needs. Parent-teacher conferences are available and encouraged.
