Since 2002 Greengate School has educated and supported bright children with learning differences in reading, spelling or writing. As we have grown, Greengate has expanded its role to serve as a dyslexia resource for the area, offering testing and tutoring services as well as annual Orton-Gillingham teacher training.

In cooperation with the International Dyslexia Association, Greengate School is a resource for accurate information concerning the educational, social, and emotional effects of dyslexia.

Parade of Schools - Huntsville Madison Private Schools Association
Greengate is participating in the annual Parade of Schools for area private schools. Several private preschools, elementary, middle and high schools from Huntsville and Madison will open their doors for the event.

Orton-Gillingham Associate Level Training
Greengate is pleased to once again offer high quality training in structured, multi-sensory language instruction. This Orton-Gillingham course will provide participants with the opportunity to learn the structure of our written language as well as systematic, multisensory techniques for teaching students with dyslexia and other language-learning differences. Greengate School holds a summer camp each year for children from first through 6th grade. The four week long camp works to strengthen language, math, art, and study skills for children with reading differences.
