On Saturday May 8, be sure to come to the biggest party in Huntsville, right here at Greengate School. Board member Michele Lucas and friends Ana Byrne, Eula Battle, Pam Gann, and Lori Webber are planning an amazing event for the benefit of Greengate students.
 The event team will transform the whole front parking area of the school into an outdoor cabaret with music from a great party band, The Swingin' Medallions. Seven caterers will provide a variety of food from barbeque to Italian, to southern chic. Outdoor seating under decorated trees and spectacular lighting will set a scene like no other in Huntsville.
As you approach the school over the next few days, you will see construction of three large decks under the trees. These will serve as flooring for the comfy seating areas where weary dancers can catch their breath between dance sets or just relax and chat with friends. After the party, the decks will remain as a donation for the school to use for games, picnics, and outdoor theater. Cash bars and a convivial atmosphere will round out an evening to remember.

It is remarkable to me that so many businesses have supported Greengate by underwriting the entire event. That means that all ticket proceeds will benefit the children of Greengate School directly. - Marcia Ramsey
