Greengate Earns SAIS-SACS Accreditation

Greengate School is now an accredited member of the Southern Association of Independent Schools (SAIS) and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS). To earn accreditation from SAIS and SACS, Greengate School complied with quality standards, was evaluated by an outside group of peer professionals, and implemented a school plan focused on strategic improvement and student performance.

You can help make sure your child doesn’t lose precious academic ground during the long weeks of summer. Studies show that all students experience about a month in learning loss during the summer, and for students with dyslexia, the losses may amount to as much as 3 months. Weaknesses in memory, processing speed, attention, and language development cause precious skills to erode more quickly. As a result, students have to spend more time reviewing at the beginning of each school year in order to catch up. Continuing instruction during the summer months can help greatly reduce learning loss.
